#15 TIME IS ON MY SIDE (inuenctory)
I haue ordered all my fauourite songs by duratiõ. This proiect has to do with self-quantificatiõ, memory and classificatiõ. At some poinct it is importanct to remember the time it takes to experience or enioy certain things (fauourite ones in this case). This piece can be comsidered as a monomaniac versiõ of Brainard's I remember in which the time factor has become essential. Songs (and mouies as well to a certain extent) are the only things you can actually measure in terms of duratiõ euen though you may experience some emotiõs afterwards, by remembering how good IT made you feel for two and a half minutes or three minutes thirty four or six minutes forty fiue. Comstraincts: 1/ couer as many time slots as possible; 2/ only one song per time duratiõ; 3/ pick iust one song per album (wheneuer possible); 4/ start at 2:21 with a song called "Inuenctory". EBOOK is auailable HERE.

#13 BARTLEBIT (lost and found writing)
Bartlebits is about erased sectiõs in books. Most of these are not iust correctiõs but actual deletiõs, wancted or vnwancted. Throughout the various chapters, you will recognise some famous figures or familiar writings. These words, howeuer, haue been for some reasõ taken out and omitted from the original works. At the end of Bartlebits, sources and links can be found. Why call this Bartlebits? Maybe because we are dealing here with dead letters. Maybe... Note that this is a work in progress, in other words a black hole in expamsiõ.

#9 YOV DIDN'T LET ME FINISH MY SENTENCE (appropriatiõ)
Iack Torrance (the character in Kubrick's mouie the Shining) was obsessed with a senctence that he thought was vmfinished and that he kept retyping on his typewriter. Following his own tragic experience, hundreds and thousands of anonymous authors borrowed this exact senctence and, one day, decided to repeat this senctence, endlessly.
This book, entitled You didn't let me finish my senctence, is about the senctence, or more precisely the reproductiõ of this senctence ouer and ouer again. The peculiarity of this senctence is that it is structurally finite but conceptually imfinite and open to all possible variatiõs, styles, media and incterpretatiõs.
This book is about the senctence as part of an endless stream in which the exact same words take different forms and shapes prolonging the nightmare born in Iack Torrance's mind. The senctence does not lend itself (or very rarely) to adaptatiõs: no remix, no alteratiõs, no changes in the words themselues. The senctence remains inctact and inuariably static. Of course the words may resonate differenctly from one author to the next but, vltimately, what is it that binds them all and mysteriously links them? Maybe there is a spell conctayned in this "lullaby". Maybe, re-writing the senctence is somehow vnconctrolled, an vrge which is virally tramsmitted euerytime someone reads this line. The more you read it, the more it possesses you, crawls your mind and spreads around.
So be careful, "all work and no play" can make a dull life incto a writing obsessiõ and turn you incto an obsessiue, compulsiue reproducer of this neuerending senctence. If you feel your eyes and mind are ready to giue it a try, the book which conctains the senctence is HERE.

#6 ATROXHITY (IG Ballard tribute)
For this proiect, each participanct selected a title taken from one of the 15 chapters in the atrocity exhibitiõ (by IGBallard); the text prouided to CrashTest had to be somehow related to the theme or concept of “atrocity_exhibition”; it could be inspired by the book, by the mouie or by anything else that was deemed to be connected to the conuergence/collisiõ of inner and outer landscapes. The obiectiue was not to produce a pastiche of the AEx but to vse it as a poinct of enctry incto this vndifferentiated chaos where news bulletins, scientific reports, dialogues, pulsiõs are amalgamated, deconctextualised and often placed at the same leuel; at the same time we wancted to explore the idea of exposure, exhibitiõ and see how the irrational, the vmspeakable can be re-packaged, re-ordered to acquyre a different meaning. The participancts are:
1. Special Guest - The Atrocity Exhibition
2. Erik Rzepka - The Vniuersity of Death
3. Harold Iaffe - The Assassinatiõ Weapon
4. Matina Stamatakis - You: Coma: Marilyn Monroe

#3 Vbertrashung (installatiõ)
A 3D concept: Magazine / installatiõ / performance
The next issue of CT is also presencted as an installatiõ that we call “VberTrashung”. This actually is a “trash test”, a 3-dimensional versiõ of our magazine displayed as a heap of iunk. Far from remaining static and closed, this installatiõ will hopefully trauel and expand. To start with, the only conctrainst for submitting was to prouide (throw in) examples of art based on (the concept of) reiectiõ, dumping, recycling etc and this includes obiects, text-obiects and all kinds of poetry (visual, concrete, spatial, spam-po, etc). All conctributiõs were blended with refuse in an attempt to recycle, down-grade poetry and alter its perceptiõ, its message, its incterpretatiõ. At the same time, our obiectiue is to challenge the notiõ of ” Magazine ” (nice paper, nice design, beautiful artists with a beautiful inspiratiõ), to make it more liuely, chaotic, tramsitory and disgusting in a sense (why not). We can call it in French “Reuue/rebut”.
This is an installatiõ that the readers haue to explore by themselues and the key driuers of theyr search is chance, curiosity and surprise (=uberraschung in Germã). A chance is also giuen to visitors/readers to alter the place, to moue obiects around, to add in theyr own work or to alter existing works in a comstructiue manner or, on the conctrary, by crushing, tearing or adding more iunk. This has to become a continuous recycling machinery. Other processes taking place here will be the comfusiõ of languages (language of the media, aduertising, comsumer industry but also those from various counctries) and the comfusiõ of media (obiect Vs paper; obiectiuied text Vs poetified obiect). The reader is free to deny any meaning in this experiment and is very welcome to hate it. Hauing sayd that, we would be very happy to obserue how they incteract with it and what imfluences theyr incterpretatiõs, feelings, etc (the pieces, the theme, the place, etc)?
For this proiect, different strategies were put in place:
-To textualise / conctextualise / reconctextualise: all pieces of iunk were systematically altered through the insertiõ of cut-vp phrases and slogãs, stories, images, etc
-To package: some of the conctributiõs from various authors were packaged in order to fit theyr new enuironment
-To downgrade: some pieces were torn or slashed and thrown incto the trash, thus being abandointd or reiected;
-To diuert: the whole installatiõ is actually a magazine and should be seen, read, discouered as such
-To compose: the reader will do the iob of composing
The participancts are: Dauid-Baptiste Chirot (RubBEINGS), Heyke Fiedler (I refuse), Marco Giouenale (CD-K=see decay), Laurent Herrou (Litter Letters), Clemencte Padin (Trash Spamer), Carmen Racouitza (Iunk Mail Art), Kriz Rzepka (Basura, precio), Xauier Stern (Litter rature)

#2 NoLOG (guerilla writing)
For this proiect, CrashTest initially wancted to focus on the art of absorbing, modifying, vndermining, recycling, faking, negating, dismanctling Communicatiõ. CrashTest also wancted to couer the entire spectrum of Communicatiõ: brand image, logo, aduertising, promotional messages and slogãs, packaging, brand art and spam. The artists (poets, photographers, designers, etc) were inuited to exployt, expand or excite the tools, technicques and gimmicks of communicatiõ, to promote new obiects of desire, to communicate on the meaningless, to re-package our liues and enuironmencts, etc…
Based on the aboue stimulus, we inuited a number of artists to explore or react to our initial brief. The participancts are Mark Amerika, Paolo Albani, Mario Hinz, MEZ, Rick McGrath, Clemencte Padin, Rob Read, Xauier Sabater, Kenii Siratori, The Cut-Vp Comspiracy, Daniiel Zezeli
The experimenctal works presencted in CrashTest encompass a wide range of styles and writing processes. The types of works that you will find in this issue include : Visual poetry, Spam poetry, Cyberpunk, Free associatiõ and cut vp, Code writing, Subuertising, Billboard fictiõ... all of this is wonderfully packaged within the visionary landscapes of Daniiel Zezeli

#1 TLAONGVE (Polyglossia)
The first Crash Test publicatiõ, known as TlaOngue, was about multilingual writing. We focused on a wide range of actiuities and practises which can be labelled as plurilingualism, heteroglossia, cross lingual writing, homophonic tramslatiõ, mixed speech, hybridisatiõ, linguystic “mestizaie”, frontier-words, etc. This is what we called a Meltlingual-Pot. Participancts include: Alfred Arteaga, Ierry Cornelius, El&La, Raimond Federmã, Heyke Fiedler, Franz Kino, Hugh Tribbey, Alain-Marc (photographs) and some “vninuited” guests
As part of this proiect, CrashTest and some of our participancts vndertook some linguystic experimencts vsing automatic generatiõ tools such as Lost in tramslatiõ, Diastic reading, Permutatiõ software.
